Systems limitations
- Round wire 0.1 … 6.0 mm Ø; cross section up to 30 mm2
- Flat wire width up to 15 mm; cross section up to 30 mm2
- We expect problems in application of irregular profiles (sealing in cooling, contact on short circuit roll)
- Performance in range 5 … 250 kW
- Problems in case of insulated surfaces (for instance Al2O3)
- Burn points are possible in case of bad maintenance
- A straight line in wire is not possible
- Not suitable for carbon steel
- Problems in case of very high annealing temperatures (for instance stainless steel) with surface in cooling liquid
